Sunday, Smiling, and Why Being Nice Matters!

Sunday is a good day for a little reflection, a little relaxation, and a whole lot of being nice to yourself. Smile. Breathe. Take a minute to recharge and get ready for the week ahead. Remember, studies show that the brain on positive is over 30% more effective than on stressed, or even neutral.

How to get and stay positive: Be Nice…to YOU! Take some time to do at least one thing each day that is just for you. Even if that one thing is only 5 minutes in your day!

Checklist: 10 Ways to Make it a Super Saturday that are Good for the Soul

A quick and easy “Checklist for a Lovely Day.” And, I agree with almost all 10 on this list…

How to have a lovely day...

I have a little bit of an issue with “Wear Perfume.” Smelling nice is great, but I would replace that one with “Drink Coffee,” or even, “Read a Book”!

But perfume is ok, too..I suppose!! How about you…what is on your checklist titled Nice Day?

Weekend Wise Words: Think Outside

It’s Friday. Time to unplug and recharge.

Hope you’re able to enjoy some time outside this weekend.

Thinking: Optional.    Relaxing: Mandatory.

There are a lot of amazing hiking trails nearby where I go to reconnect and recharge. The great outdoors requires very little of us, other than showing up. I feel a little lighter and stay in the moment a little longer when I’m among the trees & sunshine.

11 Ways to Do a Random Act of Kindness This Summer

OK, you got me!! There are only 10 items on the list. The 11th one is up to you! What ideas do you have for performing a Random Act of Kindness this summer? May I suggest “Read to a Child“? It is simple, costs nothing but a little bit of your time, and can make all the difference in the world.

But, hey, anything you do is gonna make you feel all warm & fuzzy inside…so, go for it…

Start a Kindness Chain…

Because once you start it…kindness ripples out like water in a pond, spreading farther and farther. And that’s 100% scientific fact. Yep, I swear!! Kindness is contagious!
